    How to combine a photo and signature

    1. Scan or photograph your signature on plain white paper, in good light, and crop it close.
    2. Add your photo to the tool above, then add the signature so it lands underneath.
    3. Check the order. Drag or use the tray controls to swap them if your form wants the signature on top.
    4. Enter the maximum file size from your form's instructions, in KB.
    5. Download. The note beside the button shows the exact size of the saved JPG.

    Frequently asked questions

    What size should the combined image be?
    Follow the instructions on your form, since every portal sets its own limit and many ask for less than 100 KB. Type that number into the size field before you download.
    What happens if the image can't get small enough?
    The tool lowers JPG quality first, then reduces the dimensions. If it still can't reach your limit, it tells you and saves nothing, so you never upload a file the form would reject.
    Does this keep the pixel dimensions my form requires?
    Not automatically. The tool targets file size, not exact width and height. To reach the limit it may shrink the image, so check the saved file if your form also sets pixel dimensions.
    Are my photo and signature uploaded anywhere?
    No. The merge runs entirely in your browser, so neither file is sent to a server. That matters for identity documents, and it also works on a shared computer if you clear the tray afterward.
